Moon amongst the Pleiades… clockwise from upper left: Asterope, Taygeta, Celaeno, Electra, Merope, and Alcyone, with Pleione and Atlas further below. Maia is occulted here, in the middle. I watched it slip behind the bright sunlit western limb, and reappear from behind the dimly earthlit eastern limb an hour later through the telescope.
