The Art of Nature

What an unbelievable sunset: Thunderstorms weret taking a brief break, but there was still so much water vapor in the air, which most likely created an unusual filter-effect in the sky, giving everything a special tint: The upper high clouds took on various, magnificent shades of blue; the sky reflected the deep orange of the sunset, the mountains were dipped in a dark purplish tone like an eggplant, but the clear winner in this spectacular color-festival, was the stunning cloud partially hidden behind Mount Humboldt 14,007 feet/ m high). Looking downright fake in that eye-popping, bright neon-red, this cloud was glowing by still getting illuminated from the setting sun, which was already below the horizon. Except, his color was absolutely REAL! The Pop-Art of Nature!
