Ebony Jewelwing Damselfly

While birding in a swampy, mosquito infested woody area along a creek I came across this female Ebony Jewelwing damselfly, one of just three types of broad winged damselflies found in Nebraska. I'd not seen one before. When the sunlight hits them they are quite shiny. A pity I didn't have a macro lens with me to get a proper closeup.
