Captured on Friday the 27th July 2025 in the pristine night skies of Wadi El-Hitan, Fayoum, this stunning photograph reveals the radiant core of the Milky Way galaxy. The galactic center glows with swirls of golden light, intricate dark dust lanes, and an endless sea of stars shimmering like cosmic jewels.
To the right of the Milky Way’s core, the prominent constellation Scorpius emerges in striking detail. Easily recognizable by its curved "tail" and bright red heart, Antares, the constellation arcs gracefully through the sky. Scorpius appears to guard the galactic center, adding balance and harmony to the celestial composition. In the low light pollution of Wadi El-Hitan, this ancient constellation stands boldly against the infinite backdrop, linking myth, science, and natural wonder in one breathtaking frame.
