Moon & Mars Conjunction
On 06/29/2025 09:18 pm by Chicky Leclair | Website | Helotes, TX
I was fortunate to have mostly clear skies for Monday's conjunction of the Moon & Mars. The Moon is approximately 239,000 miles from Earth and Mars is over 179,000,000 miles away. In these captures, they are only 1° apart in the sky.
Nikon Z7 II, Tamron 150-600 G2 @ 600mm, ISO 2000, f/6.3, 0.5 thru 1/250 sec; 6/29/25 - 9:18pm
I captured and blended 6 separate exposures for the Moon details and blended the result into this exposure for the sky & Earthshine.
