Deer Resting in the Morning Sun

A deer sits on the grass basking in the morning sun, possibly ruminating or chewing cud. The deer was resting near the sidewalk in a residential area close to Fort Stevens State Park which is a no-hunting zone, meaning hunting of any kind is prohibited within the park boundaries.
