Crescent Nebula or NGC 6888 or C 27

Imaging from my deck in my Sarasota, Florida backyard. This was actually imaged over top of my house. Total time imaging was 1 hour 22 minutes. With rainy season here in Florida, you never know if and for how long you can use your scope for. After 17 nights of clouds, it was a pleasure to get out again.

Seven different masks were made for either different colors or intensities. Stars were removed after being stretched and both the Stars and Starless images were processed using the masks. Images recombined. All done is Pixinsight.
