Moon and Pleiades in conjunction

At dawn this morning I dreamed of finding the Moon on a meadow playing with a swarm of fireflies.

Instead it was simply the occultation of the Pleiades by a crescent Moin visible above the distant peak near Mount Terminillo.

Single shot with Nikon coolpix p510. The view through binoculars was fantastic. With the naked eye the Pleiades were not visible.
