Crazy colorful

Overcast with smoke and light rain today so almost didn't get out, thinking the conditions were pretty marginal for photography. This guy changed my mind. He and his mate didn't mind me approaching so I stretched out on the muddy shoreline and marveled at how their colors could still shine through.
