The Iris Nebula, also known as Caldwell 4, is a bright reflection nebula located in the constellation Cepheus. It’s located about 1,300 light-years away. It shines at an apparent magnitude of 6.8 magnitude. The Iris Nebula glows with a distinctive blue color, caused by starlight from the central star (HD 200775) reflecting off dust particles in the nebula.
