Catch a Falling Star, or two

Shot this over the lake in the east county of San Diego, about a 90 minute drive from my home. We are still so lucky in Southern California to find relatively dark skies in driving distance from home. But the camera is sensitive and picks up light pollution, as evidenced in this image-the yellow hue. With careful processing I was able to bring out the core of the Milky Way and even the constellation, Scorpius with Antares shining brightly in the center.
