Dawn's Serenity: Milky Way Above
On 05/28/2025 03:02 am by Jelieta Walinski Ph.D | Website | Desert Bloom Observatory, AZ, USA
"While the world slumbered, I stood vigilant, witness to the celestial ballet. At 3:02 AM, the Milky Way shone bright, its starry splendor piercing the pre-dawn darkness. From within the observatory's sacred walls, I captured this moment, where the universe's majesty converges with human curiosity. The telescope, a steadfast companion, pointed towards the heavens, as I basked in the serenity of the dawn. While others slept tightly, I was fully awake, drinking in the beauty of the stars. The fisheye lens allowed me to embrace the entirety of this moment – the Milky Way's grandeur, the observatory's quiet reverence, and the stillness of the night."
