A Single Tulip in full bloom

A fully bloomed open Tulip. After an unusual summer-like warm front in early May, a steady stretch of cold weather sustained a good Tulip season. Otherwise, Tulip season usually comes to a jarring halt by erratic freeze-thaw cycles or hail damage or some weather-related issue.
