International Space Station in front of the Sun
On 03/30/2025 10:21 am by EGIDIO VERGANI | Website | Milano Italia
Seeing the International Space Station is always a spectacle, managing to photograph it is very difficult given its speed (28,000 km/h), its height (about 400 km) and its size (about 100 meters wide). There are rare occasions in which you can observe its passage in front of the Moon or the Sun. In this case I was lucky to have captured it in front of the Sun . The passage was very fast, 0.56 sec., but you can observe the ISS with some small details. It is very important NOT to observe the Sun without adequate filters or eye protection!!! The shot was taken from my balcony at home in Milan
