Double Lunar Corona Reveals Varying Droplet Sizes

Last night marked the smallest full moon of 2025. Although clouds drifted across the sky in Taipei, a beautiful lunar corona appeared. In this photo, two distinct coronas with different radii are clearly visible, revealing that the water droplets in the cloud layers above and below the Moon varied in size.
