Supermoon vs. Micromoon – My Comparison Shots (19.08.2024 vs. 12.04.2025)

Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the Supermoon on August 19, 2024, and tonight’s Micromoon (April 12, 2025), both captured from Kolkata, India using my Celestron PowerSeeker 60AZ. The Supermoon appears larger and brighter, while the Micromoon looks smaller and softer. Both images were taken with the same setup to highlight the size and brightness difference.

Shot Settings: Single shot, 1/60s exposure, ISO 50, focus set to infinity
