Pelican and pier sunset.

Pelican and Green Flash sunset. The pelicans have taken over the closed ocean beach pier in San Diego. Many do not realize stationary objects like a pier can create a green flash as the sun sets behind like we see in this image. The railing of the pier has a green lid to it. It is almost as if the pelican is watching the sunset.
