Twelve March Equinox Sunsets 2014-2025.

The recent March Equinox Sunset served as a reminder that I have been photographing the Equinox Sun setting behind the summit of Murahwa Mountain near Mutare for the past twelve years! A photo montage and slideshow have been compiled for selected images extracted from archives of photographs taken from 2014 to date. These have been cropped and resized to exactly complement each other and provide a unique record of an event which takes place at the same time and place each year! The dates for the solstices in the montage run from March 2014 (top left) to March 2025 (bottom right). All March solstices during the period fell on the 20th of the month and all photos were taken within a day or two to capture the position of the Sun. A slideshow of full images in the montage will be posted as a Disqus comment if this submission is accepted.

Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 or DMC-ZS40 in sunset modes with digital viewfinder to avoid direct looking at Sun.
