Venus, 1 day before inferior conjunction

Venus, 1 day before inferior conjunction, Less than 9 degrees from the sun. Cell phone shot through the eyepiece.
This is dangerous, so do not try this! I had the scope completely in the shade of a building, and found Venus manually with a low power, wide-field eyepiece, before switching to a higher power eyepiece.
