The geese, also called "honkers" have paired up! This pair was by themselves on the shallow creek preening, resting, just being together which was charming to see. A flock of them commonly seen on the wide grassy golf course in the area stayed throughout fall and winter. Now I'm looking forward to seeing their goslings in a month or so.
