Venus and the angel

Looking for Venus in broad daylight is one of the challenges that I enjoy the most, especially these days that it is close to inferior conjunction and it appears as a very thin crescent.
Yesterday morning, being only about 10 degrees from the Sun, I didn't think I would still be able to see it with the naked eye. And instead it was like that. I wanted to take some pictures of it near the statues on the roof of the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in Rome and it was much easier than I thought. Once the Sun was hidden behind the statues, it wasn't difficult to spot the white dot a short distance from the Sun with the naked eye, thanks also to the very clear sky. Single shot.
