On 02/08/2025 11:00 pm by EGIDIO VERGANI | Website | Milano-Italy
The Rosette Nebula Ngc2244, a classic of the winter period, features many Bok modules, aggregations of dark dust and dense gas that are home to star formations. Some of these have animal shapes (panther, dog, elephant, donkey) that many enthusiasts detect. The distance from Earth is about 5,200 light years.
