PixInsight Matters

I had to send in this comparison. If anyone out there doing Deep Space astrophotography is not yet convinced of the benefits of using PixInsight (and affiliated software) then just look at these two exact same pics. As a complete rookie following instructions in a video (link above/below) I was able to produce a SUBSTANTIALLY better pic of Pinwheel using PixInsight. It is worth the time and effort to learn PixInsight if you are going to be committed to astrophotography. It costs way less than hardware. My hardware would probably be called mid-grade amateur. No hardware would make this much difference in the quality of a pic (well maybe Hubble or JWST or Chile).
ASI585MC Pro g252, Askar V@600, 44 10min exposures + darks/flats
AM5/ASIair+, Askar OAG + ASI174mini for guiding, EAF
Left pic processed with DSS & Affinity Photo 2
Right pic processed 100% with PixInsight (PI) using video by Cuiv (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCotRiUIWtg) to process my first pic with PI
These are exactly the same pic (look at the stars) using the exact same data.
