Bye Bye BlueGhost
On 03/16/2025 09:26 pm by Tom Tan | Melbourne, Australia
The first image was taken on the 13th March, close to a full moon, when the moon was rising at sunset time. The second image was taken on the 16th March, after a full moon.
The first image showed a full face with the large crater Mare Crisium under the sun.
The later image showed a crescent with the crater partially covered in darkness.
The Blue Ghost had landed on the 2nd March and soon seen its first sunrise.
It had landed somewhere in the Mare Crisium. Two weeks later the sun was setting over the Mare Crisium and the Blue Ghost will be entering into a big sleep soon after.
So, Bye Bye Blue Ghost
