Fire and Ice

Julian is located in the mountains east of San Diego, California, USA. Rarely does it snow up in the mountains of eastern San Diego County. This is one year that we've had ample (relatively) snow. From this vantage point near Lake Cuyamaca, you can see west where the sun is getting ready to set and is creating a unique light. The vegetation is getting ready to show some colours. A very unique perspective, a wide angle shot of the landscape.
