Messier 82, the Cigar Galaxy, is located in the constellation Ursa Major, and is about 12 million light years from Earth. Stars are being formed at a very high rate in this galaxy.

41 8min subs and calibration frames collected over 4 nights were stacked with DeepSkyStacker, additional post-processing with Siril, Seti's Astro Suite, and Photoshop.
