active sun

finally an X-flare but from the "wrong" side of the sun, the X2.0 flare was emitted by a non impressive elongated sunspot which appeared only yesterday about to exit the solar face at the 2 o'clock position. AR4000 possesses the delta magnetic component but it looks like it's decaying compared to previous days; AR3998 appears unscathed
