A Bald Eagle, preparing to sit on its eggs, with it's beautiful wings spread out. With an impressive wing span of 6 to 7 1/2 feet they can soar 10,000 feet or more. They weigh about 10-14 pounds, much of which comes from their plumage, about 7,200 feathers.
