Valentine's Day Aurora

We were disappointed after not seeing the Aurora Borealis after a 6 day Northern Lights cruise that took us well into the Arctic. Our first night back in land in Tromsø, however, was not a disappointment. After having a quick dinner to celebrate Valentine's Day we took the cable car to a nearby mountain to get as far from the city lights as possible. We finally left a few hours later in a joyous mood, the Aurora is truly a wondrous event to witness.
