Down but not out.

After a window strike, this male House Finch lies stunned, with feet hanging down between the wood slats on my bench slowly trying to regain it's senses. I didn't try to pick it up for fear of it trying to fly before it was ready to. I could see it breathing, and thought it would be OK, and let it lie there. It slowly drew it's wings back in and finally got to it's feet. About an hour later, it took off.
