An often overlooked gem of the winter sky, double star 145 G Canis Majoris, also known as h3945, the "Winter Albireo", 6,000 light years away, in the constellation Canis Major.
It has one yellow (or gold) star, and one blue star.
Much better visually, through an eyepiece, but I tried to capture it as best as I could.
Per Google AI:
To comfortably split 145 Canis Majoris, also known as "the winter Albireo," a minimum magnification of around 30x is typically needed, as the component stars are separated by roughly 27 arcseconds, making it a relatively easy double star to resolve even with moderate power telescopes.
