Pastel Sunset

The raging fires in Los Angeles, just about 100 miles north of where I am, created particles in the sky from the smoke and the colours were phenomenal. The famous Santa Ana winds blew the smoke and other debris miles south and west over the Pacific Ocean.

A lone exposure using a variable ND filter to capture the fading light as the sun sinks into the horizon and creating the deeper colours of after-burn
