Venus-Saturn Conjunction
On 01/20/2025 06:57 pm by Peter Lowenstein | Website | Mutare, Zimbabwe
In the evening on Monday 20th January, the Venus-Saturn conjunction (still close together) was observed descending towards a layer of low dark cloud above fading sunset glow. A sequence of 21 consecutive still images was then captured and used to produce a beautiful time-lapse animation which will be presented as a comment if this post is accepted.
Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
Slight enhancement of brightness of planets with minimal application of Star-Spikes Pro filter.
