Mars Returns

This is a single shot of Mars re-appearing from behind the occulting Moon. It was taken on Monday evening (13Jan) from my home in Las Cruces, NM using a C11 and ASI533MC camera.

Celestron 'C11' on Losmandy G11 mount. ZWO ASI533MC camera used.

This is a single frame taken a few seconds after Mars re-appeared from behind the occulting Moon. Image converted to PNG format using Nebulosity. Color balancing, brightness/contrast, smoothing and sharpening were performed using Photoshop and Topaz Denoise AI. Image is cropped and presented at 50% scale.
