Occultation of Mars
On 01/13/2025 07:50 pm by Eliot Herman | Website | Tucson AZ
It was a cold but reasonably clear night in Tucson with its usual dust. The Moon barely cleared the Catalina Mountains in time for entry, but exit was high in the sky. Mars was easy spot with the eye, better in my guide telescope and looked great in the camera. Just before entry and just after exit shown.
