I had heard about a Bald Eagle showing up in this particular location on and off. I was hoping to find it and get some photos, especially since the Bald Eagle was just designated as the national bird of the United States. I was so fortunate this particular morning to see the bird perched in a tree. I waited and waited and my patience paid off when the eagle took to flight.
