Crescent moon at sunrise

A crescent moon is hard to find in the day time among the clouds and with the sun nearby.
So I tried to shoot it before sunrise but the sky has turned white. I changed the photo as if it was day time with a blue sky.
I may have rotated the crescent to face diagonally.

the sky has turned white so the photo was changed
with curves, level, contrast.. and colour to make the crescent shine and
turn the sky blue
