A young second year eagle perched over the very frigid Mohawk River. More than 240 yrs. ago the Bald Eagle was identified as a symbol of strength and independence to the USA. It has been called our national bird for all those years when it actually wasn't. But as of today, 12/16/2024, the title is finally official!
