Putting on a show

This hawk flashed by me at eye level and warp speed, then treated me to a personal airshow as it maneuvered through multiple twists and turns, skimming just above the ground. The camera captured the action without blurring thanks to abundant sunshine that allowed me to shoot at 1/1000th of a second as I followed the hawk's performance.
