Red-tailed Hawk & Vole

As I was driving near home, a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk flew along side my car with a squirming vole hanging from it's talons. I stopped as it flew onto a tree. These hawks have acute vision and are very intelligent. Being fierce hunters, almost 90 percent of their diet is composed of small rodents.
