Conjunction of Venus and the Moon

I was keen to show the crescent moon (around 15%) with the crescent Venus (around 55%) in one image. In practice I had to record and then blend three images to properly balance the exposure and get the two crescents to appear in a reasonable frame size. The images were all taken at around the same time and the distance is approximately correct between the two objects.

Nikon Z6iii, 600mm f/6.3 lens, 1.4x teleconverter

this image is a blend of three separate exposures to properly compensate the different brightness of the dark and light portions of the moon and Venus. Also Venus has been slightly expanded to suggest its phase.
