Cackling Geese

Cackling geese or Aleutians - feeding, preening or quietly sitting - as far and wide as the eyes can see, hundreds of them. They are wintering in the island to avoid the cold up north then in the spring they migrate to their breeding sites in remote Canada and Alaska.
