Venus and Luna together this evening.

The waxing crescent Moon with Venus close by, relative to viewing from Earth. The Salt Lake Valley of Utah is currently enveloped with a thick smog inversion causing the moon to be orange low to the horizon. Only the brightest stars and planets are visible through the smog and light pollution.
