Leptodactylus frog in Puerto Rico
On 11/28/2024 09:31 am by Armando Caussade | Website | Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico
This is a frog that I found measuring about 3 inches (10 centimeters), likely of the Leptodactylus genus which features webbed toes. The Eleuterodactylus genus which is well represented in Puerto Rico is also a possibility, but unlikely, because the frogs tend to be smaller and few species in the genus have webbed toes. If someone is able to provide an accurate identification, please let me know in the comments.
