Skull Nebular, small planetary nebula in Cetus
On 11/24/2024 01:00 am by Andy Dungan| Near Cotopaxi, Colorado USA
I have been working for many nights on this one. On the night of 11/23-24 I finally took 35 pics (10 min each) of this small object (3.8') located in Cetus. I tried on 5 other nights to get quality pics but failed either due to clouds or the inevitable mistakes associated with astrophotography. It does look a lot like a skull cut in half horizontally to me.
