Skyborne Veil

This is the shot I most hoped for this summer but it isn't necessarily my favorite. I tried my best to make it work as I planned from home.
In the afternoon I studied the place and thought It would be an easy shot but in the dark things tend to change.
This pond turned out to be very hard to reach in complete darkness, with high vegetation and no visibility even with 2 flashlights. I literally walked around in circles trying to find the way.
When I got there, I needed to adjust several times to get the right angle of the milkyway reflecting in the water, and while I was doing so, I heard animals exhaling and echoing all around, it really was a surreal experience that left me in a bit of a shock trying to figure my next move. My guess was wild boars and hopefully not with boar cubs. That's when reality kicks in.
Running went through my mind but it could be worse so I just stayed, trying to figure what was going on, and kept staying until I decided I was going to do the shot. 16 frames took some time and as it went through I relaxed, as I watched a bunch of clouds form a different atmosphere evolving the milkyway but still letting it shine.
