Maunakea Lake Waiau and Observatories

Since it was National Take A Hike Day, we went up to Maunakea and did a hike down to Lake Waiau, the only alpine lake in all of Hawaii. Then, we walk around the crater rim of Waiau cone and took a shot with the lake in the middle and the observatories in the background. If you look closely, the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory has been removed.
