When the night sky glows

Between 3:10am and 3:50am the night sky was its normal dark and cloudy self, up until a small golden spot appeared in the Verizon. Seemingly the moon it was easy to ignore…that is until it grew larger and larger until half of the entire sky was lit up a bright golden orange, the rest engulfed in an almost black and almost thick surrounding. The breath taking event took course in about a total of 45 minutes when it was finally washed away with the winds. I feel honored being able to witness something so ominous yet captivating.

None
