Moments in Motion
In life, we encounter rare moments that feel magical, and though they’re fleeting, they remain etched in our hearts. It’s the rarity of these experiences that gives them value. Just as the unique scent of sweat can be transformed into perfume by adjusting its density, moments in life, too, become precious when they are rare and meaningful.
Time works the same way. I remember resisting school, only to now look back and realize it was some of the best times of my life. The same goes for relationships—the people we once clashed with often become the ones we hold closest. Proximity can lead to tension, but distance makes us yearn for connection.
This idea of rarity and density extends into the universe itself. As Leela Majumdar said, “In darkness, ghosts reside.” Darkness isn't just the absence of light—it’s the ungraspable, the dense energy we cannot always see. Similarly, astrophotography allows me to capture moments of light in the vastness of the night sky. By aligning my camera with the stars, I collect fragments of light, slowly revealing the motion of the cosmos.
Time, like light, is precious in its rarity. Each photo I take is a reminder that moments—whether in life or the universe—are fleeting, but when captured, they hold meaning beyond words. Just as stars rotate around us, our memories and experiences spin in time, creating their own beautiful trail.
