"Wavelengths of Light"
Captured the Sun in a whole new light! I used my 70mm and 60mm refractors with Spectroheliograph to capture different wavelengths that highlight unique solar features, then combined them into a pie-shaped image for a comprehensive view. Each slice brings out specific solar layers:
- White light: surface details and sunspots
- H-alpha: prominences and chromospheric filaments
- H-beta: added chromospheric depth
- Magnesium: photospheric granulation and magnetic fields
- Helium D3: magnetic signatures in active regions
70mm refractor and 60mm Guidescope, Spectroheliograph, ZWO 178MC Camera, ZWO UV/IR Cut Filter, iOptron MiniTower mount.
